Health Journey Hawaii is a health ministry established in 2003 for the purpose of providing health perspectives, options and general health and healing principles for the spirit, soul and body. Providing acceptable health perspectives and options will depend on the worldview that these perspectives have been developed from. A worldview is a framework of beliefs that help us to interpret what we see and experience. It also gives us a direction in the choices we make as we live out our days. In the area of health and healing, a Biblical worldview perspective of God's health and healing system is preferable to that of the world's disease management system. 

As our country faces a health care crisis, we need to recognize that healthcare reform begins with each one of us, individually. Transformation, reformation, restoration and renewal of our health will begin with revelation of Who created us; why He created us, when He created us and how He created us. This marvelous revelation will assist to change our perceptions on what we are responsibly required to do to be healthy in spirit, soul and body. 

An increased awareness of our personal responsibility in spiritual, emotional, mental, social and physical health will be the basis for our motivation in attaining optimal health, healing and wholeness.  This lifetime journey of following wise general health and healing principles and choices will benefit ourselves, families and communities.

To accomplish the mission of Health Journey Hawaii, the founder has promoted communication and education that are respectful, caring, compassionate, challenging, goal-oriented, academically and therapeutically based, spiritually oriented and loving in a family-like atmosphere.  The foremost desire of this ministry's heart is to see all come to the full knowledge and saving grace of God.  This adventure has been a journey of increasing dependence on the One who empowers with guidance, grace, faithfulness and unconditional love.  This journey is a process.  The destination is His heart where there is transformation, healing and wholeness. 

As a retired RN, former Oncology Certified Nurse and former Associate Director for the Foundation for East-West Medicine, Cheryl Toyofuku has transitioned to assisting family and friends with more nutritional, natural and non-toxic programs of health care.  She has worked with medical and naturopathic doctors, along with health advocates who have taught her a lot.  She is a mother, grandmother and a daughter of the King.   Cheryl is the Founder of Health Journey Hawaii, to assist herself and others while on the journey towards optimal health and healing in spirit, soul and body.
